The Sigana International Storytelling Festival (SISF) was a roaring success. The event kicked of with a lively performance by the entire cast of storytellers followed by a Kenya inspired cocktail at the Alliance Francaise. The 5 day long celebration of the enthralling art of oral storytelling performance ran from Thursday June 10 to Sunday June 14, 2010 in Nairobi City, Kenya. Our participants drawn from Sweden, Uganda, USA, Sweden and Kenya were widely appreciated.
In addition to the live performances, students were engaged in a storytelling workshop facilitated by our team of storytellers. There was also a opportunity for the cast of storytellers to unwind in, share experiences and network during the final artists workshop.
